It feels hard to quantify something like this these days where there is so much division between different promoters & platforms. I think most tip top guys would fight anyone as long as they are treated fairly & given their value. For those reasons idk who's really being protected & who's just on the wrong side of the street.

And it's also worth noting these days their is more angling towards big fights being made as big as they can be which looks like protecting fighters but is simply about maxing out the profit.

Terrence Crawford. He is vastly overrated and over hyped for his cherrypicking weak resume. His resume is b class or lower trinket holders, faded former champs and bums. His best opponent is either inactive and blown up Gamboa or Postol. His welterweight resume is pure dog **** for a supposed top p4p fighter and welterweight. Horn, peg legged Jose Bumavidez, washed up glass jaw Amir Khan, and Eurobum Mean Machine. Crawford then re-signed with Top Rank and ESPN exclusivity to duck the top guys. He is packing a glass jaw and will get exposed by the 1st top welterweight he fights, if he ever fights one. If anyone else cherry picked a resume like Crawford they wouldn't be nearly as protected or over hyped. Boxingscene has deleted some of my threads about Crawford and Fighthype deletes my comments about Crawford all the time. You can't even be critical of the bum slayer. Uncle Bob seems to pay off the boxing media...
