  • Comments Thread For: Jaron Ennis On Top Fighters: I'm Their Last Resort

Jaron Ennis might be the best blue blood talent on the American boxing scene. The question is if he's ever going to get a chance to prove it against another top fighter. The undefeated welterweight from Philadelphia has made short work of his opponents, impressing observers with his rare combination of power and speed. Now, it's gotten to the point where fans are wondering if he'll face somebody who'll actually hit back.

I honestly believe boots is the real deal. I think his manager needs to push for better opposition and rankings every fight. At 23 he still has alot of time but somebody is gonna have to give him a chance eventually.

Dude you're not low reward, you're NO reward.

Get yourself into a mandatory position . It ain't hard at all, you could easily get yourself into the top 5 of one of the orgs and get a title eliminator.

Also, why aren't you signed with Haymon?

You could have been in a title eliminator already.

Are you another Andrade that is gonna cry about being ducked your whole life until you retire when you ain't done Jack to get yourself into position and keep making the wrong promotional choices?

True and I agree, but instead of calling for a title shot against Spence, Bud, Pac, he should be calling out & trying to make fights with guys like Ugas, Ortiz Jr, Rashidi Ellis, Jamal James, etc. to get his name out there + higher ranking, because only hardcore fans know of him which is a shame.

Devon Alexander will likely be the “step-up” sacrifice for Boots in early 2021. imo

It's often a slow process being a juice not worth the squeeze boxer. You just gotta keep impressing with your W's & keep edging up to better & better guys as the opportunities allow for. Eventually you get to your max level.

Randomly the perfect prospect fight to make right now if boxing made any fooking sense would be Boots vs Vergil. That would be a fun ass fight to watch right now. Whoever won that fight would get a big Q score boost.

Those are all good names to use as stepping stones. Jamal James is one I didnt think of but i dont think Ugas would beat boots but it'd be a good fight.

Big Fan of Boots! All he has to do id keep winning and working his way up those Sanctioning Body Rankings and he will be a Mandatory real soon OR considering how Corrupt they all are maybe Cameron Dunkin can speed things up for him and buy him a higher Ranking

Just hope he doesn't get held back due to Politics because he is not with one of the bigger promotions

Until he signs with PBC or a big promotional outfit no promoter is going to have any incentive to throw one of their contenders in there to catch a beat down from him.

I still have Bud against anybody at this point in time. But I'm very high on Boots. Boots is only 23 but he's also not green. 25 pro fights is a lot of experience. He's rangy, slick, fast and punches good. By all accounts, all he does is train and rest, no AB antics(AB= About BS). This makes him very dangerous for anyone. Honestly, I haven't heard any top fighters even speak his name in a conversation.
