I am from Oba Carr's era and started boxing before Oba Carr. Jaron Ennis is way beyond Carr NOW. The young man is longer, bigger, and can fight from both stances. Now DEFINITELY what Boots needs to work on is his defense. He gets hit too much, especially by the likes of the competition he's facing.

Carr was a great amateur and never improved enough to be a great professional boxer.

Boots and team knows the only way to get the top fights is to get with a good promotional company or PBC and then become the mandatory for the belts he wants around his waist.

Get yourself into a mandatory position . It ain't hard at all, you could easily get yourself into the top 5 of one of the orgs and get a title eliminator.

Also, why aren't you signed with Haymon?

You could have been in a title eliminator already.

Are you another Andrade that is gonna cry about being ducked your whole life until you retire when you ain't done Jack to get yourself into position and keep making the wrong promotional choices?
