Industry just leaked that Canelo asked for GBP to seek out alternative broadcasters, reported by Boxing Scene weeks prior. Why do you think GBP tried to attempt to expand DAZN “non premier” list by adding Yildirim? It means Yildirim would be cheaper for GBP should the last measure in settling for DAZN’s $17mil. They could give Yildirim a career high in $1.5 and the opposing pockets the rest.

It would be even more complicated depending on if Haymon would advice Yildirim to not take that and go to purse bid.

It’s not that Canelo “wanted” Yildirim. Rick Glaser affirmed this.

According to Glaser, there is a force majeure clause in the contract that supports DAZN's defense. I can't say if this is true or not since I haven't seen the contract but that's what Glaser is claiming.

Umm maybe because he did what an elite few have ever done and that is go from world champion at WW and across 4 weight divisions captured a title all the way to LHW. Yes I said elite few (for the layperson that is counting on one hand).

Canelo haters come in all colors...the most reticent however are the damn long tired age claims. He fought a 75 year old Kovalev! No he was 35 hardly old for LHW. He fought a 55 year old Danny Jacobs! No he was 32 not shop worn. He fought a 45 year old GGG...no he was 35 too. But but but he fought a 42 year old Lara. No he was 31.

Last time I checked boxingrec each one of those proclaimed losses were ....wait for it....holy ******* WINS!! Face it, Canelo haunts you at night. It eats at you.
