DAZN : We want Canelo in a premium fight against Oscar Dela Hoya

    per fat dan

DAZN approved Callum Smith & BJS for Canelo but not as "premium" guys & wanted to dramatically cut license fee. I'm told DAZN would consider (not joking) De La Hoya, Jorge Masvidal & Khabib "premium" foes even though Oscar is 47, not since '08 & other guys aren't boxers.

Imagine what wilders contract was to get the $120 Million.

Triple threat vs Ali and Tyson?

That’s pretty bad from DAZN! I wanted them to succeed, but it looks like they don’t know sh_t about boxing

But bluebeam said that nobody wants to see that fight and it won't sell....??

I really do get tired of exposing these dudes that just don't understand the BUSINESS of boxing.

By this its safe to assume that DAZN considers "Premium" opponents as fighters that currently sell and has sold a good amount of PPV shows?

If this is true, how in the hell is DAZN going to argue that Yildirim is not premium? MMA fighters and a 47 year old are premium but the guy the sanctioning body has ranked #1 isn't?

              It just got worse...

DAZN should definitely stick to YouTube fights with non boxers that are popular with the casuals

Yep pretty much the sad part is I'd rather see Canelo rematch Rocky than either one of the premiums that are mentioned. That's pretty bad too.
