seems like it was too much to take them hard fights back to back for both Gassiev and Usyk, thats what caused injuries and will shortend their careers

Gassiev is still really young compared to most people in his weightclass. He just has that old man look that is deceiving.

I checked into some recent stuff about him to see if he had any fight scheduled and I was kind of surprised at the way he looks. The guy was already stocky back at CW but he looks way heavier now at heavyweight. Not fat just a very short (for heavyweight) stout build.

When you look at how good Dorticos is, and knowing how Gassiev beat him, and then putting into perspective how Usyk neutralized Gassiez, well.. That shows how good Usyk really is.

I know he got embarrassed by Usyk, but I really like watching Gassiev fight. He's been inactive for way too long, and hope he can get back into the ring soon.

Is it crazy to say that his talents may translate better to HW than Usyk? And I an a fairly proud Usyk fan.

He may not be in the super heavyweight range but at 6' 4", I wouldn't say he's very short. Hopefully he gets through the injuries and other problems he's been having and gets back in the ring sooner than later. He only has one loss to Usyk and it's yet to be seen how he will fare at heavyweight with the extra bulk. He was a pretty bulky guy at cruiserweight.

Somewhat but styles make fights. I'm not saying Usyk isn't exceptional but Breidis did much better than Gassiev in the WBSS against Usyk. It was a very close fight whereas Usyk vs Gassiev was one sided.

Not at all. Gassiev has much better power than Usyk and that means a lot at heavy.

                    He should stay at cruiserweight.

                    Heavyweights will smash him.
