Going 12 while giving your opponent a beating is one thing. Going the 12 because you could not hurt your opponent or land anything meaningful is another. Spence was the bigger, longer, taller fighter. He should have been able to connect something meaningful not to mention hurt the much much smaller opponent. I get that some fighters are crafty and have slippery defenses but Garcia is not that guy.

Who cares if you can out box a much smaller opponent? It would have been more impressive if Spence had done it to a bigger or taller opponent.

True Garcia has failed to really let his hands go at 147. I see him starting really slow just like Spence only Spence tends to start to pick it up around round 4/5 where Garcia takes until after round 6 to do anything meaningful.

Well Mikey was undefeated and had already fought at 140 fighters make jumps all the time to be great sometimes they win and become special sometimes they lose and go back down or stay around and grow into the division doesn't always mean they are going into a fight to get knocked out that only happens at the lower levels of boxing.

Either way should be a good fight I'm definitely interested in watching I like both fighters Danny was a top dog at 140 but never really found his way at 147 and he doesn't look good against Southpaws he had trouble with Judah, Guerrero and even Redkach in spots. I think Spence if 100% will be too big and too good.

It's not the long overdue divisional supremacy scrap that we're waiting for at WW. Same old meh fights.

If Spence is fine like they’re saying then he will take this one.

Mikey had not fought at 140 at least at the professional level before he fought Spence. His previous fights were at LW, SLW or Feather. He did have a non title coming-back-from-his-contract-issues fight just under 140 but I hardly count that as he immediately moved down to 130 in the next fight.

I am hoping the Spence Vs Danny fight is good. Both in my eyes have a history of starting slow and Danny has not shown to be good going forward at least at 147. He looks more flat footed and Spence did not impress me with how he Beat Mikey. He should have imposed his size and reach more. I agree that Spence 100% is too big and too strong for Danny, I think that if Spence does come forward aggressively Danny has a chance at landing some nice counter punches. I would give Danny the edge on hand speed but his feet need to learn to move more.

Danny Garcia has accomplished a lot in his career, and he has to be respected for that. He's gotten into a habit of only throwing one or two punches at a time, then moving a bit. He really needs to start putting two, three, and four punch combinations together, then moving a bit more. I mean in, and out, side to side, using angles in order to catch and surprise, his opponents. His knockout ratio will rise, and he wont suffer close decision losses in his fights. Danny needs to throw punches in combination, where the second, third, or fourth punch will do the job with a lot more effectiveness than those one, twos. I really believe that Danny could've won his fights with Thurman, and Porter. A loss will effect Danny's career more than it would Errol's at this time. Now if Errol gets beat badly in this fight, his recent accident will be viewed as the cause for his defeat. I hope that they both do themselves proud, and give us a fight to remember for the ages.

He is too complacent with where he is at right now. Shame too because he had some good potential.
You are absolutely correct. He doesn't have that drive to succeed in the sport no more.

In addition, he no longer likes to take on the tougher challenges in his era either. He has a long list of fighting and defeating only gatekeepers and overmatched opponents.

He doesn't fight for us fans, legacy, glory or prestige. He is only fighting for the money. It's like I always say; He fights for the least amount of risk for the most amount of money.

Danny is a class act however his

Dad is always a fool! I respect Danny talent and believe at this point he can pull off the upset if Errol is still drunk from that car wreck. Also Errol is coming off a war with Shawn and then a loss in the wreck so the favorite should be Danny, just my opinion so don’t say sh_t crazy to me; I fire back plus I’m from Detroit. My dam opinion
