Who is he going to fight that's not with DAZN? What promoter will guarantee Canelo 30 million? Heck, What promoter will guarantee Canelo 7 million? Where are these opportunities going to come from?

$365M was dumb then, it's dumb now. Pretty pathetic all around.

I like that his counselor asked that he be able to fight outside of GBP while in litigation. Smart move bc Nelo can get across the street and get a good challenge, namely Caleb Plant.
That's a one off fight and a breach of contract, Canelo loses that lawsuit hands down.

He's like, "f" boxing. I'm collecting without having to fight and we outtie.
I've gone over this again and again and I come to the same conclusion. If he's not cashing out he's trying to renegotiate and that's possible. If he follows through with the suit he's done, he'll never fight real competition again, it's a cash out.

If he promotes himself he gets paid directly. How do you think Mayweather was able to make so much off his fights?

There are some executive changes coming to DAZN. As Martin Ross reports at SportBusiness.com, Simon Denyer is leaving his CEO role. Denyer (seen at left above) is a long-time figure with what’s now DAZN, as he co-founded former parent Perform Group with Oli Slipper in 2007 and then became CEO of the DAZN side in Read more...

Blavatnik actually promoted Simon Denyer. Denyer no longer runs dazn, James Rushton does. Denyer's in a different department for Access.

              this is james rushton

eddie doesnt deal with canelo, oscar does. that had nothing to do with eddie.
when hbo backed out of it..dazn had the chance to sign Canelo, they took it..and got goldenboy and their archives with it.

Said it when they signed him to that ridiculous contract that he wasn’t worth it......signed him on potential instead of performance....people aren’t going to keep paying for bs fights

STOP RIGHT THERE...DAZN added Andrede, Charlo and Billy Joe Saunders to Canelo's approved list, not Canelo. The truth is that Canelo said NO to Andrade not DAZN. Look it up, it's all there.

And Andrade is a DAZN fighter!

Boo Boo must feel like crap that his own network blocked him from getting a money fight.

Canelo was Golden Boy / Oscar nothing to do with Hearn.

The only fighter I remember Hearn insulting was the Bronze Bummer and he was proved right on that one.

Nope. Coppinger whom represents the Athletic specifically and recently stated that DAZN did not approve Andrade as a Premier fighter. Andrade is a Champion. What are we even debating... They didn’t approve BJS, Smith as premium opponents.
