No GGG-Canelo 3 is not one of the most anticipated fights. That's ships sailed and GGG is cooked, done.

In the end this will be good for both parties. Dazn can focus on putting on good fights and building the future stars like Ryan Garcia, Vergil Ortiz and Devin Haney. Canelo can go to PBC or Top Rank and fight on PPV like he should have been all along. PBC will be the better fit since they have more opponents at 160/168 than top rank.

DAZN are f***ed IMO. It’s been an absolute circus, from working with that charlatan Hearn, overpaying fighters who can’t sell out their living room, not being able to force the fights they need and the fans want, mounting debt etc etc.

Good concept in theory, a disaster in reality...

And having Canelo and Kovalev take a back seat to UFC.

I actually didn't have a problem with Ward's tuneups because the end game was Kovalev. What's Canelo's end game though?

no im talking about the first time ward was with hbo that led to him being kicked off. he refused to fight guys like bute and ggg and tried to fight some guy named dmitri sartison among other unknowns and eventually the relationship ended in court with ward losing. i would be ok with ward fighting sartison if he had promised to fight someon good afterward but obviously that wasnt in the contract and ward didnt think he had to fight anyone good so he tried to take advantage. i have no idea why hbo even wanted ward back and we saw what happened with the farcical kovalev fights. all that just so ward could retire in shame? what was the point? the kovalev fights flopped as everyone knew they would and hbo was left with nothing after them. no ward. no kovalev(star power at least)

If Canelo was generating alot of revenue for Dazn this would have never happened but he was not. He generated money but nowhere to the level that he was paid. Dazn made a big mistake paying him all that money and not forcing him to fight GGG
