    Opinions on this Wilder quote

"Fans come to see knockouts. They come to see something dramatic, a body lying on the canvas, spread like it’s having birth. That’s what people want to see, and that’s my mentality"

First of all, do you agree, and second, can you think of an example where a fighter ended up in a 'having birth' position...?

    Tyson/McBride is the closest, but

Wilder fought bums and looked amazing KOing them for years. Had he been fighting top contenders, his KO% would have been way lower. Plus he would have been KOed himself. All his quotes were false bravado as a result of the garbage competition he faced.

Lol at 'having birth' who says that...

Wilder fans and the average fan are looking for those type of KOs surely. More refined fans might not always need the KO but everyone wants to see someone get splattered every now and then. 12 round wars are fun too though. Especially when it's a super close decision with the *gasp* rarest of thing in boxing, impartial accurate judging.

Wilder wanted to catch a body, then he became one.

People absolutely want to see knockouts. It's a bit brutal to want to see people removed from their senses but it's built into all of us a bit. Personally I like to see a boxing display first. A non boxer with one punch knockout power doesn't really do it for me.

As for having birth. I doubt he was anywhere near the birth of his 50 kids.

Wilder wanted to become pregnant this is a clear reflection of what is known as hidden thoughts in ones mind just like when people push a narrative about someone it’s because they subconsciously want to do it themselves.

Sounds like Wilder is obsessed with giving birth, I wouldn't be surprised if he blows all his earnings on some experimental procedure to allow biological men to give birth lol

Interesting how we all prefer different things from one sport.

I like when one side, assumed to go close or lose, washes the other and shuts the crowd up. Whether that's a knockout or masterclass. Two fighters try their hardest but one completely washes the other.
