Ugas beat Porter more decisive than Spence Jr did even though Spence scored a Knock Down and Ugas didn't
So..... Who did you have winning the Ugas vs Porter fight?

Ugas beat Porter, easy fight to score. He also scored a knockdown that they didn't call. Every time Porter charged in he was greeted with the same double hooks to the body Ramos got and it had him running, pretending like he knows how to box from the outside.Comment

I had Ugas winning a very closing fight but it wasn't very convincing. He didn't beat the champion up enough or knock him out in order to take his title.Comment

You don't have to beat the champion up enough or knock him out to take his title.
All you have to do is win more rounds than him.Comment

I had Ugas by 1 round winning. I never went back and tried to rescore off a second view. I always feel a little bias in the rewind scoring. It was a very close fight, but I just felt like Ugas beat Shawn P at his own game. I wanna see Ugas vs Keef now!Comment

Technically, that is true. You are absolutely right. However, many times, judges will judge a fighter's body language.
If a challenger appears that he doesn't really want the fight badly enough then sadly and very unfortunately, most judges are not going to award him the decision.
I know it's a very rotten and corrupt way of seeing things but it's the way of the world. It's just the way it is. You have to show the judges that you really want the fight badly enough by taking it to the champion by being aggressive.
Bouncing on your toes and fighting off the back foot against the champion would only work against a challenger; Especially if the fight is close.Comment
