Yeah, they're both B side fighters as well. No one pays to see fighters like them, but someone like Ugas is a solid opponent for anyone just like Clottey was at one point.

Not the most exciting, but they're tough gritty fighters.

Clottey that fought plaster Margarita and bloodied Cotto would KO Ugas.

Too bad Clottey’s career got ruined after the Pac bout. That fight became his living reputation which shouldn’t be cause it’s not true. He could have done much better in his career if he was given more opportunities. HBO and Roach didn’t give him proper justice afterwards

I don't think Ugas ever had as good moments and fights as Clottey did vs Cotto and Margarito. He was pathetic against Pac and then disappeared but I think he was fighting on a better level than Ugas has so far. But yes, both are similar "dark horse" types that round out a division and make them better

                  Hmmm

That is actually a Good Comparison, I can see it! Ugas is more Skilled than Clottey while Clottey had more Power

But yeah Ugas use a good Tight High Guard at times similar to Clottey which can be very hard to penetrate. Like Ugas, Clottey also got screwed over in some Decisions as well.

I don't think Ugas would ever get a Decisions over the Top guys in his Divisions BUT like Clottey I think he would be a tough challenge for all of them with that Size and Jab

Ugas let his hands go more vs Ramos which left him open for Ramos to land big shots and wobbled him a couple of times but Ugas wanted to assure he won that Belt and even with being more aggressive than he usually is and they still almost robbed him

Clottey could never finish strong in big fights. In one fight he didn't even fight.

I still would favor Clottey over Ugas. Ugas is solid but nothing spectacular.

I'd pick Clottey to beat Ugas, just by how Clottey smashed Corrales, Judah, and Cotto.
