Haymon keeps trying to screw Ugas over like when he was robbed against Porter.

Ugas won but I would not call it dominant, it was lacklustre. He just did enough to win the rounds, but when he exchanged he got stunned in the 3rd and 12th by Ramos.
Ugas does not throw enough punches and gives judges the opportunity to give the round to the opponent. You can see this throughout his career as he has 5 split decisions, and only won the Dulorme fight due to 2 points being deducted from Dulorme otherwise that would've been a SD win for Dulorme.
Some judges don't seem to like his fighting style that much.Last edited by MED_1978; 09-06-2020, 10:12 PM.Comment

Well if the writer of the article, Mr. Donovan is criticizing Morett, he should write about the fights in a more precise manner. Why calling Ugas " sturdy chinned ?" He was basically KOed in the last seconds of the fight. Had that happenned a minute before, Ugas was going to get Koed. Yes, Ugas won fair and square and was not the typicall hugger-runner like the Cubans are but the first 4-5 rounds were a snooze fest even though Ugas had the reach and size advantage.Last edited by budfr; 09-06-2020, 10:09 PM.Comment

He is boring, albeit not as much as the other Cubans. He has no fan base, only a few fans in Miami, which half the Cubans there hate him because he represented the Cuban regime many years. In his country of birth, Cuba, he doesn`t exist. He is vetoed because he is considered a traitor, just like his manager Salas. He does not represent Cuba in any way or form. No newspaper, no media whatsoever talks about him. Only a few that have satellite or can watch espn in a hotel watched the fight. Matter of fact, even the few that watched it the majority wanted hin to lose.Comment

Title should read, Ugas wins, still not a champion. The wba regular needs to stop being acknowledged altogether.Comment
