Boring? You most be a hater. I do understand pacquio not fighting him. But not because he is boring.

Exactly right. Ugas isn't a big draw at the moment (although Jeff Horn wasn't either but that's a story for another day) so I understand Pac not fighting him. But Ugas has skills that true boxing fans can appreciate. He's definitely not boring though.

Exactly. Ugas is a precision boxer who comes forward and even exchanges at times....he is not even in the stratosphere for the description of boring. And he fights with heart and his conditioning was great. On top of that, wasn't given anything, he had to earn everything, and came from a difficult period in his career a few years back to excel.

Well if the writer of the article, Mr. Donovan is criticizing Morett, he should write about the fights in a more precise manner. Why calling Ugas " sturdy chinned ?" He was basically KOed in the last seconds of the fight. Had that happenned a minute before, Ugas was going to get Koed. Yes, Ugas won fair and square and was not the typicall hugger-runner like the Cubans are but the first 4-5 rounds were a snooze fest even though Ugas had the reach and size advantage.

Ugas and ramos are the same high and reach. A least that is what the tale of the tape showed. Getting stunned doesn't meant being ko. Abrl catch him with a good shot and finished with a better one and Ugas took it.

He is boring, albeit not as much as the other Cubans. He has no fan base, only a few fans in Miami, which half the Cubans there hate him because he represented the Cuban regime many years. In his country of birth, Cuba, he doesn`t exist. He is vetoed because he is considered a traitor, just like his manager Salas. He does not represent Cuba in any way or form. No newspaper, no media whatsoever talks about him. Only a few that have satellite or can watch espn in a hotel watched the fight. Matter of fact, even the few that watched it the majority wanted hin to lose.

you talk too much crap. Every elite athlete from Cuba has represented the island one time or another. Every person in Cuba cheers for their countrymen. It doesn't matter if they play baseball, boxing, pinpon or chess. If you find Ugas boring is because he is Cuban not because he is boring.

How blatantly biased was the Fox team of Kenny, Lewis and Goosen who sang the praises of Ugas before, during and after the fight. Granted, Ramos did not do enough to win the fight and Lou Moret's score of 117-111 in favor of Ramos was baffling. But Ramos was competitive throughout, giving almost as good as he was receiving. His jab was consistent and he landed the harder power shots, two of which wobbled Ugas. Yet the Fox team rarely gave Ramos credit and acted like he wasn't even there.

And still, Ugas almost got rob. At the end of the night the judges are the one tipping the balance. By the way, ramos was outclassed and Ugas gave him a chance by trying to finish him in the last round.
