The attitude that you guys who've posted thus far on this thread is shows gross disrespect to a fighter who prior to his last bad defeat was being talked about as possibly being the most fearsome HW of all time and certainly the hardest puncher.
But not only that, that same attitude holds boxing back. If a proud champion takes a bad loss then becomes a bum overnight then THAT is the reason that more great fights don't happen.
Why don't they happen? Look at the scorn and ridicule that gets heaped on fighters when they take a loss and lose their zero.
Why risk it if you go from hero to bum with one loss? Much better to keep on cashing the paychecks.
Why should Crawford fight Spence?
Why should Bivol fight Beterbiev?
Why should Taylor fight Ramirez?
Why should Loma fight Lopez?
Why should Joshua fight Fury?
Oh wait! One of those fights is made and another (Taylor Ramirez) will be made if a mandatory defence is successful.
As much as you all denigrate Wilder I hope you throw a bucket-load of praise towards Lomachenko, Taylor and Ramirez who all have most to risk in those match-ups (Lopez not so much as he is young and can come again).

It's Beyonce's ridiculous behavior and arrogance that brought the condemnation.
A bicep injury I can accept, but a ring costume wore your legs out? That has to be one of the weakest excuses I've ever heard.
If Wilder is as strong as some claim, then he ought to have been able to carry Fa out to the ring.
Wilder's one dimensional, safety first opponent picking template came crashing down against a boxer who is not known for his power.
That implies very heavily that Wilder has settled into a style very similar to the Mike Tyson that struggled when he couldn't force fighters back, and/or make them weary of his vaunted right hand.
If Wilder expands his repoitre - build in some new skills then - he can truly earn the tag of worthy HW.
Not only that, but the last stage of his career will have to consist of named, ranked fighters, otherwise he'll retire as the most bum friendly HW 'champion' ever.
I hope Wilder does go back to the drawing board and work on every facet of all the fundamentals.
You can forget Wilder, this is not the same guy we once knew. Since his loss to Fury he has lost his persona, the angry/hungry fighter we once knew is gone. Just look at him now, he's doing those fkn shirtless photo shoots for pro African magazines which make him look like a gay RnB singer. Like I said if he fights again it won't be against Fury, he can talk as much as he wants but deep down he is not that dumb to not realize that he lost in a bad way, and HE KNOWS he will get the same ass whoopin in the next fight if he fights Fury. A limited fighter like him, who has no jab, no proper defense, no fkn movement, no leg work whatsoever...he stands no chance against any decent HW fighter. He might be ok against 60 year olds from Cuba or some Polish bums but against Fury, Joshua and even Ruiz he stands no chance.
I don't think Wilder has ever been in this for the love of the game 'He was in it to make a living'. You soon see which fighters are in the game for the love, when they lose etc
Wilder is not a boxing historian and does not know much about the sport 'Outside of himself, I don't think he was a big fan of the sport as a teenager'.
Boxing is all Tyson Fury knows, and Joshua since he turned to boxing has been consumed by it 'Joshua became a student'.
