How exactly do you defeat Roy Jones Jr in his absolute prime?

What type of gameplan/strategy would need to be implemented?

Montell Griffin was winning the fight before the DQ on any objective scorecard. No one wants to admit that, but it’s true.

I would have picked Michael Nunn to beat Jones, which is why Jones never fought him.

Michalczewski had a good enough career and outclassed enough good opponents where you have to say that fight is a toss up. I would have picked Jones but he might not have been the best fighter at 175 during his reign there.

Who are all these good opponents Michalczewski outclassed?

Montel Griffin was giving Roy problems, he was also clearly on his way to getting stopped.

Michalczewski knocked out Nester Giovinnini, a crusierweight champion.

He beat Garciano Rochiginni twice, who was a regular title challenger.

He outclassed Virgil Hill, who was the undisputed light heavyweight champion at the time.

He outclassed Montell Griffin, who holds wins over James Toney and Roy Jones.

He knocked out Richard Hall twice, who at that point had only lost to Roy Jones... in a performance that George Foreman stood up and applauded Hall for.

He knocked out Derrick Harmon, who has a win over Glen Johnson.

You can’t write him off in a Jones fight.

In what world did he outclass Montel Griffin? He was totally dominated and then landed a massive punch and stopped him.

Other than Hill, they’re hardly “good” fighters. Most of them weren’t even ranked.

                1) come in 80lbs overweight...

                2) " accidentally " fall on Roy, a few seconds into the fight

                3) inject him with cyanide, with the syringe you had hidden in your glove

                thats the only way

He knocked Griffin out in less than 12 minutes.

                  That’s outclassing someone.

Lennox "the lion" lewis would be a lock. Mythological he matches up to maybe yes maybe no every fighter in or out his weight class when he was still around, after John ruiz win albeit.
