So Keith Thurman didn't ask for $10 million to fight Crawford...only $3million? Plus incentives should he win?

Nothing wrong with that if true.

Top Rank and Crawford prefer to give Kell Brook $4 million and get an easy win instead.

he still hasn't paid his dues, Cotto would still get that fight ahead of Golovkin even today... and Martinez signed an agreement with HBO to face Golovkin next IF he got past Cotto

that was just silly fanboy nonsense from the 2nd worst fanbase in boxing

Golovkin fans rolled out the red carpet for him, and automatically demanded that every potential opponent bend to Golovkin's terms.... which was utterly ridiculous
Facts! Apparently breadman is one of those fanboys still keeping the sherade but bad move for him to say that Ward didn’t duck Betterbieve because according to him Martinez criminally ducked Golovkin. He’s making zero sense

Still not enough to say Martinez ducked him

IF... Brook can make 147, and be healthy for 12 rounds

who would I favor in a matchup between Brook and Thurman ?

          not 100% sure

never really rated Thurman... and I don't think hes the same fighter

It's all a leverage move that doesn't really benefit the sport, but I get it! FOX and ESPN are not in business to get a draw! The want the title! Undisputed vs. First Take, is an example! Only when the stage is really big, i.e. Wilder vs. Fury, will they work together! However, Crawford has very little leverage! He's not Fury, maybe not even Lomachenko! That puts Arum in a spot he doesn't want to be in! They have no choice but to pay up, and Crawford really doesn't have a choice but to take a pay cut! Father Time is working against him, but he's the one that needs Pacquiao, Spence, Porter, Garcia, and Thurman! He needs to accept that!

              rite now.

many months ago, DSG appeared out of nowhere to be WBO #1 for months and just disappeared off the WBO rankings the other day. he wasnt mandatory. vergil and mikey still 2 and 3, respectively.

but mandating them matchups would be really cool.
OK! That sucks, but oh well! Honestly I would like to see Vergil Ortiz more than Jose Ramirez!

I don't think it was the most blatant duck ever but Golovkin was a bigger star than the guys Martinez fought in 2013. Let's just agree that it was a viable fight that could have happened but didn't.

No! We can’t agree because although ggg was a bigger threat these other does you mentioned were “all” more well known middleweights and they commanded more money.
(Example) or (comparison) ggg @ 38 is still in good shape enough to beat guys who call him out like Andrade and Charlo and even Benavides and he has zero interest in fighting them for what about 4 years? Nobody says ggg is ducking. Martinez was like 40 years old probably with bad knees, Golovkin never even called him out yet ppl invented a narrative that Martinez ducked Golovkin

As for the well-known part, Golovkin headlined on HBO in September, 2012 and I don't remember Matthew Macklin or Martin Murray doing that. GGG didn't campaign hard for the fight but Lou Dibella is on record addressing a potential Martinez-Golovkin matchup so it wasn't far-fetched.

Again, I'm not saying it was a blatant duck. I'm just saying that Golovkin was a worthy opponent and the fight didn't happen for whatever reason.
