Perhaps Hearn thought Canelo would sit out a bit like his quiet behind the scene boys in Smith and BJS. Hearn, knowing that BJS is an overweight fatso blowing up, and Smith disappeared since February... I guess Eddie felt the only even playing field would be to frustrate Team Canelo and distract that no fights are happening in 2020.
