AJ is another diva in there who bottled the wilder fight and looked bad against andy ruiz when he first fought him, and looked mediocre in the rematch. There are tons of things wrong with their business model that I don't want to go into. How on earth can a network have that much talented boxers and not many marquee fights get made?
    Excuse me?

After DAZN signed Joshua they then sat down With Wilder and offered him a career high purse and Wilder said no.

Don't just bold faced lie about easily verifiable facts lol.

GGG primary reason for going to DAZN was the 3rd fight with Canelo so no once again it goes back to Canelo....

DiBella would be a great choice to run DAZN USA.

I don't think the fighters are the issue. The business model does not give any incentive for fighters to make the best fights to attract the most subs or buys.

Guaranteeing a base pay for your stars seems reasonable but if they want more, make them work for it. Make their promoters actually do their fking job...

Maybe make their extra pay based off of the subs the and interest they generate.

It's ridiculous how ****** DAZN is to go in the complete opposite direction of PPV and solely rely on the utopian idea of providing more fights at a fraction of the cost would be all they needed to generate interest.

The DAZN model needs to be modified. The customer/consumer's interest is simple and it's imbarassing that a billion dollar vest company can failed so hard.

He is still overpaid at the end of the day. Bad deal.

Again, it points to bad negotiation tactics by dazn. 3 fight deal that includes 2 fights with AJ is not guaranteed. AJ bottled any little hopes of it by losing to ruiz last year in the 1st fight, and so many things have changed since then. AJ was scared of wilder and even mentioned multiple times that he wanted fury to win so that he can fight fury. Why should wilder sign and get hooked into taking ****ty fights if AJ wasn't available when wilder could stay at pbc and do better? AJ is a straight up punk.

Which is why they got hydration clauses.

All but one (Fielding) were top 3 in their weight class.

His next opponent is supposedly Callum Smith, who's also a good opponent and ranked as the Champion of 168 by The Ring.

His last opponent, Kovalev, was ranked #2 by The Ring at 175, #2 by ESPN, and #3 by TBRB.

Daniel Jacobs was ranked #2 by The Ring at 160, #2 by TBRB, and #3 by ESPN.

GGG was ranked #1 by The Ring, TBRB and ESPN at 160.
                Golovkin wasn't DAZN.

                Fielding was a cherrypick.

Jacobs was a decent opponent but the fight itself disappointed.

Kovalev would have been a good opponent if the fight happened 2 months later than it did. The quick turnaround made it a cherrypick.

Callum Smith will be an easy fight for Canelo, if that happens. Smith has already rejected one offer.

Danny didn’t care for any rehydration clause because he got paid a ridiculous purse. Danny waived the morning weigh in.

Kovalev signed the contract way ahead of time and said Canelo was in for a rude awakening. Kovalev never said anything about a rehydration clause. Instead he said his fight from Yarde didn’t give him to relax and start a new camp.

Kovalev’s date was arranged way ahead of time before the Yarde fight. It’s Kovalev’s fault that he decided to go many rounds as Plant did with Feigenbutz...

Y’all need to learn boxing and stop being ******!

Why would he pay buy Szeremeta out because Canelo changed his mind and decided he didn’t want to fight BJS?

Maybe Canelo should have offered to buy out Szeremeta’s contract instead of sticking GGg with the bill.

He signed a deal that was worth 1/4 of the deal Canelo signed.

It’s amazing that GGG becomes a huge crossover star in the eyes of Canelo fans whenever someone points out that Canelo won’t fight anyone.
