So we have three names now out there that DAZN would consider as premier opponents for Canelo:

Golovkin
Mayweather
Masvidal

We know Jacobs and Kovalev are not considered premier opponents and could presume that the likes of Andrade, BJS, Smith and Charlo wouldn't be considered premier opponents. Coppinger wrote earlier this week that DAZN is cutting Canelo's guarantee in half because they feel that is in their right since the contract indicates he has to fight one premier opponent a year. But when legitimate champions with solid names are not considered premier, then was this their way of having an "out" on Canelo's deal? It is unrealistic to think he's going to fight a UFC fighter and there is no way he gets the Mayweather rematch.

How would you guys feel if he does indeed fight someone like Masvidal to please DAZN?
