If Brook had beaten some top 15ish welterweights the past two years this would be an interesting fight. Being that Brook hasn't fought 147 in years all we really have to go on is speculation

The British have a very different mindset than Americans when it comes to boxing. Americans won’t boo another country’s national anthem because its in the American psyche to be quiet and respectful during their own. The British are a small entity made up of even smaller countries on a continent made up of many small countries whos sports are about competing with other countries. America is a large country which really exists on its own geographically. The British tend to have a very “adversarial” response to the USA that isn’t at all reciprocated. The average American never even things of anything british.
