Comments Thread For: Brook: When I Dethrone Crawford - It'll Be Among Biggest Wins For British Boxing!

According to former IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook, a deal is getting close to reality for a showdown with Terence Crawford, who holds the WBO world title at 147-pounds. The fight is being discussed for a date in November in Las Vegas.

Brook would for sure be the underdog and Bud is my man but Brook would be in there with more than a punches chance . Eye sockets aside you won’t see the embarrassment of a Khan fiasco.

Brook is washed up, can he just keep quiet, brutish boxing doesn't need him talking himself into an embarrassing loss Dillian Whyte style.

If it was Brook before Golovkin, I think he arguably beats any current fighter at 147. Or at least a 50-50 fight.

Going up for that fight was a bad move, and even worse was dropping down 2 weight classes after that loss and after surgery, then going straight into the Spence fight.

I still believe had Brook not gone up and straight down, he would’ve beaten Spence.

But he’s nearly 35 now and been too inactive.

He’s got confidence which is good but let’s be real Crawford will outbox and frustrate the hell out of Brook.

But let’s face it, it will end similarly to the Khan fight if he breaks another eye socket.

                Which he will.

If Brook didn't have a face held together with duct tape he's still 35

This is an 80-20 type of fight for Crawford, I would consider a Brook win quite shocking.

Couldn't have put it better, he's just giving away too much with the weight and despite knocking out his last opponent (durable too) with a perfectly timed jab you could see the signs of inactivity. Shame really, as the Brook that beat Porter that night would arguably be too much for todays WW's.

                    Brook was always a ?

He had talent but not the challengers.

Porter is not unbeatable and it wasn't a sound beating.
