Anyone who has developed insomnia in lockdown should follow this fight

For me, JP needs to splatter Fa to remain relevant

There won't be much splattering I'm predicting.

It'll be the equivalent of a chess game between 2 Pasifikan guys who know each others game inside out.

      Oilskin Parker FTW!!!

This has probably been the most painful and annoying fight negotiation I've followed in some time.

The irony is that negotiation for the fight will probably be much more blistering and contested than the actual contest in the ring.

Based on his comments, I see Fa doing enough to make sure he doesn't get stretched. Parker will do what he normally does, paw at his opponent, get in some clinches and hope he can get in a shot to put Fa down. It will be enough to get JP the decision.

As a boxing nerd I think I'm more interested to see what kind of undercard they come up with

Are there any decent Kiwi prospects or good rivalries between regional fighters? I imagine that it will mostly be local talent in the card.

This is the type of fight Parker AND Fa need to put the themselves firmly back on the radar.

Parker has been stuffing around, wasting precious time fighting bums and journeymen. This is a fight, that if produces a close contest, could elevate both fighters back into the world title mix.

Fa has has the 'prospect' tag on him for too long now, and it's time he tested himself.
As for Parker, if he wants to make a serious run at a title, then he needs to get going, and the one crucial thing he needs to settle on is his natural style.

So many hurdles for a mediocre fight.
