Is Barrett outgunned against Valuev?

His last fight against Rahman was hardly inspiring. He has a shot to beat Valuev of course... but I'd favor Gigantor unfortunately.

See, I hope he wins because I think he's more deserved of a championship and I also think he can put people in seats:

He's american, skilled, and a heavyweight.

The Rahman fight was strange, and I think there might have been some shady dealings going on....and both guys looked like they were paid to take a dive.

Who cares, and either way. Barrett is a top ten heavyweight any way you slice it....and has a shot at becoming a champ. Beating Valuev.....and then rematching Mesi or taking on a Vasily Jirov would be a good thing for boxing.

Barrett would beat Mesi in a rematch, and Jirov would get outclassed in serious fashion.

Oh and don't start writing Barrett off either:

I'd pick him against Maskaev, Liakahovic, and perhaps Brewster depending on what Barrett shows up.

Oh and it may not seem feasible.....but what if Barrett knocks Valuev the **** out? then what?

If Barret will come in into this fight 100% and if he will fight a smart fight then he can definitely beat Valuev. I just ****i'n hate his performance against Rahman.

He must stay on his toes and keep moving while throwing punches to tire out the big guy.

He did just that against Whitaker, and was robbed blind.

I don't see how anyone could score that fight for Goofy...and we can draw some similarities between Valuev and Whitaker.

Both akward, tall and strong compared to their counterparts.

I think Barret will wear out within 10. Valuev's strength will eventually be too overwhelming. I hope Barret wins and gets rid of this guy but I think the odds are against that.
