Canelo-Martinez makes the most sense now

Sergio Martinez has a pretty record, the pedigree, the name, is fighting at the right weight and poses no risk to Canelo.

He would also take short money for the fight, which none of the real contenders are willing to do.

    The fight would also sell.

Before you tell me how ****** I am, Canelo fought Rocky Fielding in 2018. He fought Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in 2017. He fought Liam Smith and Amir Khan in 2016.

Martinez, as shot as he is, probably goes 3-1 against that list.

Nelo would destroy my boy Martinez but I would not mind it since it would mean a good pay day for Martinez. Remember Martinez gave us awesome fights and he did not get good pay days as far as boxers goes.

Losing against most of Canelo’s cherry picks actually makes it a terrible case for a fight.

Other than Khan, he would've got beaten to a pulp by them all, including the pot head he already beat

That's on him. This is why fighter should fight for themselves and not the fans. Now he's 45-ish and fans say he deserves one more big payday because he gave us great fights back then while taking less money.
