Jonathan "Polvo" Oquendo will travel to Las Vegas this Wednesday, with one goal: to return to Puerto Rico with the World Boxing Organization (WBO) belt in his hands. The Puerto Rican boxer will go into the ring on Saturday night to challenge Jamel Herring at the MGM Grand Conference Center. Jonathan Oquendo is older, shorter, and has less reach, he's going to have to come out fast, and stay close. He can't allow Herring to box at a distance that would favor him. This is virtually Oquendo's last chance to fight for, and win a title. He has great wins against tall fighters, and at least one of them was a two time former champion. Herring is the favorite to retain his title, but he could be upset.
