Why do fighters that hate each other hug after the fight is over?

It’s about respect especially if it’s someone who didn’t go down easily or at all!
I fought someone before and they were much smaller than me and they gave me hell, an after the fight we chopped it up an broke bread but we still didn’t like each other lol!

But why is this when they have a history of dislike and hatred towards each other?
It's called mutual respect between competitors.
Crazy this isn't obvious to someone who allegedly participated in a street beefs fight. If you think you're above shaking a hand or hugging a guy after a fight then you'll be laughed and jeered off most places, it's a classless way to act.

Because its usually fake beef. See the end of Crawford vs Benavidez or Charlo vs Williams for a real beef reaction.

They probably never hated each other to begin with and it shows good sportsman ship. They had the whole fight to take out any hate they had for their opponent and when it is over it's over. The hug is just mutual respect for another good fighter who just gave them a good fight. There are some fights in which the rivals don't hug at the end of the fight because they rally dislike each other.

Because they don`t really hate each other, lol. You must be really naive to believe they hate each other. All trash talking **** is just to promote the fight.
