Just like Spence did to get the IBF back from Brook when despite hometown advantage, Porter took an L.
Very theoretical opinion. As if KO is always just a matter of choice of a fighter. Even if you don't get the KO, the result should be fair, shouldn't that be the argument?

While I agree that you should do all you can to not leave the results in the hands of the judges. A KO is not always possible. But that does not mean that you cannot be looking for a KO and score some Knock Downs to help you.

Results should always be fair but the real world is not fair and people will always cheat to get ahead. I do not fault Pac for his result I fault Roach for not preparing Pac. Unless he tried and PAC was just not able to be prepared for a dirty fighter like Horn.

          That's not how it is.
TT can go abroad and beat a champion on foreign soil.
He's good enough to do that.

            Why is that?

If the money is right then obviously they will get someone out here. And make no mistake, the judging will be rigged in favour of Tszyu. He was the beneficiary of a few dubious decisions during his brief amateur career. It will be much worse when there is millions of dollars at stake.

KO is a matter of choice if actually trying.

Would you say with a straight face that you've ever - EVER - seen Erislandy Lara try to get a KO before any of his "robbery" draws or losses?

What about Rigondeaux? Any fight where it was a blowout on the scorecards? Did you see him try for a KO?

Did you see Errol Spence try to KO Mikey? I didn't.

Have you seen Broner try to KO anyone at 147?

Did you believe that Thurman was trying to KO Manny?

Danny Swift TRIED to knockout Redkach. He failed. But at least he tried.

Porter TRIED to knockout Formella. He failed. But at least he tried.

Crawford TRIED to knockout Khan. He failed...and resorted to a low blow to get a TKO.

Jermell Charlo TRIED for a knockout against Harrison in the rematch and got it. But in the first fight he wasn't trying for it, and took an L as a result.

Fury TRIED to knockout Wilder in the rematch and succeeded. In the first fight he wasn't trying and damn near got knocked out himself.

You can tell when a fighter is actually trying for a knockout and when they're trying to cruise to a win.

Horn couldn't even get a rematch with Pac in Australia. They'll overpay to get a vacant title, or manufactured title, but nobody goes to Australia looking for fame and fortune. I'm not saying life is bad there, Tim likes it, just it's way off the beaten track. Way off.
Parker is from New Zealand, not Australia.

Tszyu, unlike Horn, has trained overseas and will fight overseas but obviously he would prefer the home country advantage just like any other fighter.
