Is there any date set for Gennady Golovkin next fight?

I just took what he said about a fighter he was trashing and applied it to the fighter he loves.

Canelo and GGG are both amazing boxers. They’ll both make the hall of fame. They’re both be remembered as one of the few dominant forces of their generation.

I'd say froch would have loved a ggg fight, bigger guy and could take a punch and lots of money in it, don't see any reason why he wouldn't want it bad, imo

cotto, maravilla, yes they were not interested and canelo bided his time
Apparently Froch said GGG and co. wanted him to come down two pounds to 166. But who knows what really goes on in those negotiations. Wouldn't doubt that GGG and his team would try for every advantage, but Froch talks out of both sides of his mouth so much it's hard to put any stock in what he says.

As time passes, people accept the decision of a fight. This was the reaction here to Golovkin vs Jacobs

I think Golovkin could have been something special if he had better management

He barely beat Austin Trout, Erislandy Lara and Danny Jacobs.

He got a gift draw and a gift decision against GGG.

He was losing the Kovalev fight when he caught him late and won.

If you had him winning any of those fights, it was barely.

He didn’t dominate one top fighter in his championship reign.

            Canelo ain’t all time.

            ... whoops.

Idk I could see people watching all those fights live, and thinking more or less what SSM said. And I could see someone getting to 7 rounds live for SD vs GGG. Just no real way to get to 7 rounds for Danny (or 6 for Canelo) vs GGG.

I remember Michael Montero said Jacobs won then later on he changed his tune to be like Dougie and Steve Kim.

I don't really see any analysis there. Basically it is what you may expect on a superfan forum from people who don't like GGG and may identify as well with his opponent. The logic is basically 'I don't like GGG, and I like his opponent. GGG was supposed to KO Danny but he didn't and it went 12 rounds. Danny punched him some so I think Danny won.'

I have 0 doubt that if GGG and Danny switched outputs in that fight, the same people would be saying it was a robbery and that Danny won. Except this time they would actually mean it. And I would agree with them.

You don't get outlanded by about 50 punches, 9-2-1 in rounds, and KD, and get to claim robbery. You can't even really make a claim that you did anything other than win some rounds and go 12 rounds. Which is what Danny did. Good for him. People can hate as much as they want to, that's their issue not mine.

Oh what rounds did you score for him?

It is honestly funny seeing you say that. Not to call you out, but you seem to be projecting lol. You have admitted on here that you had GGG winning live, but then changed it to having Danny win. So how can you try and get on that guy, if he did do that lol.

So yeah curious what rounds you scored for Danny live and also when you re-scored it.
