Why doesn't Parker fight somebody that's ranked to position himself instead of asking for 2 guys that can't fight him?

After AJ and Dillian White losses (in 2018) he fought absolute nobodies in terms of skill or world rankings and he wants to be in contention?

Because nobodies are all that want to fight him.

Parker has his own promo team in New Zealand. Hearne is just a secondary promoter who is conveniently based in Europe.

Hearne is in no way responsible for Parker's career, he just helps with negotiations in Europe and the US.

As much as it may be Higgy's fault Parker's career has stalled, it's also every other boxer's manager/promoter who won't risk putting their guy in to get schooled by a durable ex world champ and yep, that most definitely includes Hearn.

His NZ team is still his management team.

This sounds like total nonsense to me. I mean what is Eddie protecting in Whyte anymore? He already has two KO losses. Hearn has stock in Whyte and Parker so a rematch would bring in revenue for Matchroom from both sides and neither guy is protecting an undefeated record. Not sure where you're getting this from...

Paraker vs Ortiz could be interesting, BUT... Parker vs Usyk would be a REALLY good fight to see.

I agree. Ortiz at this point in his career could be too over the hill. I mean he was a great boxer at one point but he's really old now. Parker would get much more credit for beating Usyk even if Usyk is an undersized HW.

He's such a laid back, nice guy outside the ring that I think he finds it hard to get that killer instinct in the ring. He has the skills, he just needs to fight meaner.
