he laughed at Ruiz, calling him all sorts of names. You don't know what Ruiz has in the pipe and for the first part, completely fair that Ruiz is returning the favour.

As did many, many others, including the millions of fans Andy let down by not bothering to keep himself in shape after beating AJ and turning up to defend his titles looking like a beached whale.

The difference between Whyte and everybody else is that Dillian gave Andy a chance at immediate redemption with a lucrative offer to fight.

Ruiz deserved all the mockery he got, and if it shamed him into changing his attitude and showing respect for the sport, his fans, and himself, he should be thankful for it, not resentful.

Ruiz caught the break of his life. His fame shot way up after the Joshua win, yet even that could not motivate him to train hard for the rematch. Dude was what? 30lb overweight for the rematch? That is something I simply can't respect.
That’s why I don’t think he’ll do anything of note again in his career.

He can say all the right things but if he can’t lay off the pizzas and train for his biggest fight, he isn’t going to do it for lesser fights, especially now he’s made money.

I don’t mind boxers talking shit to each other, if you cannot take it then don’t go into boxing, Ruiz getting triggered because he got called fat and avoiding a 4m payday is somehow laughable doe. It’s like Kownacki or Ortiz laughing after turning down 7m to fight Joshua and then turn around to see him losing that fight to Ruiz, and they going on to fight for peanuts and getting KO’ed in their very next fight. I mean you shouldn’t even talk, especially when you turned down that kind of money to fight for peanut in your very next fight.
