Did you watch Top Rank's summer schedule on ESPN? Talk about trying to make us care about guys that suck!

I just hope we don't have to watch Lara again, what a horrible fight, at least the Angulo fight had some trading and action.
Angulo looked bad, but to be fair he got thrown in with a southpaw on no notice, he is also small for 168.
Angulo should retire, but he won't so give him a rematch with Hernandez, just not a co-main event.
Still would like to see Kirkland vs Angulo 2, that fight would be a fitting way to end their careers.

PBC sucks, they almost always match up no hopers in fights, they probably thought Angulo would win easy against a 11-4 guy.

The bold: Add that to the fact that his fight was the best of all broadcasts last weekend.

what an absolutely ridiculous assertation...but id expect nothing less from the pbc hating army of fgts

first of all....none of those guys are star level fighters....at best guerrero got some good paydays and fights...arreola had some paydays....but youre talking b/c level pbc fighters here(yes every promo company has them)

haymon isnt in control over how they spend their money or how much more money these guys wish to make......some guys spend/invest wisely...others dont....for every guy you think is short on money and is hanging on to make more theres a paul williams who is still set...theres a leo santa cruz naming his kid after haymon...and a host of others who have been set up well regardless of how well they manage the money going forward....

just another pbc hating fgt who will never amount to anything in life

            *looks at names*

They all have something in common and thats probably the reason.

I then remembered that Angulo was fighting on this card because he beat Peter Quillin.

Quillin’s best win was over a 60 year old Winky Wright who was a division north of his best weight. He was absolutely destroyed the only time he fought anyone worthwhile. He also had to knock down a B-level fighter six times to win 7 of 12 rounds.

But we were supposed to care about Quillin because he was so good, so we had to care about Angulo!

Well Angulo sucks apparently so Quillin definitely sucks.

Then I remembered that Angulo was supposed to fight Caleb Truax. Truax was supposed to fight on this card because he went 1-1 against a totally shot James DeGale.

But we were supposed to care about DeGale, even though he sucks, so now we have to care about Truax!

              Newsflash: he sucks too!

What a f**king joke. PBC has to be the worst when it comes to this s**t.
              Haymon and ldb...
I mean pbc wanted to make a company exclusively with “americans” that americans would care about.

Place them in the a-side and get a whole nother set of non “american” b-sides they beat the crap out of and youve got yourself the next big thing/wish fulfillment fantasy/treatment center.

Not too many good “americans” though.

Which is why he just matches them up endlessly in non-career advancing fights against non “american” b-sides to get his personal frustrations off.

Then maybe against themselves because Haymon pretty much loses every fight against other promoters(yes this includes Hearn).
