PBC tries to make use care about so many fighters who suck

I’m just reminded of this fact after watching Angulo get worked over by a scrub.

I then remembered that Angulo was fighting on this card because he beat Peter Quillin.

Quillin’s best win was over a 60 year old Winky Wright who was a division north of his best weight. He was absolutely destroyed the only time he fought anyone worthwhile. He also had to knock down a B-level fighter six times to win 7 of 12 rounds.

But we were supposed to care about Quillin because he was so good, so we had to care about Angulo!

Well Angulo sucks apparently so Quillin definitely sucks.

Then I remembered that Angulo was supposed to fight Caleb Truax. Truax was supposed to fight on this card because he went 1-1 against a totally shot James DeGale.

But we were supposed to care about DeGale, even though he sucks, so now we have to care about Truax!

Newsflash: he sucks too!

What a f**king joke. PBC has to be the worst when it comes to this s**t.

Look I have no problem with letting older guys who are past it still make money in this sport but Keep That Sh^t Off TV!

I think they was trying to Build Up a Older Angulo as this "Great Story" but he just been in too many Wars and looked extremely Slower than the already was and every bit of his age last night

I do respect that Haymon allow guys like Angulo to make money that is fine but bury that on FS1 or something. That was tough to watch he looked terrible!

If Haymon really cared about his fighters, like so many people claim, then these old guys like Guerrero, Molina, Angulo, Josesito Lopez, and Arreola shouldn't even be in a position where they're still taking beatings and receiving brain damage to pay their bills.
