Are Toney/RJJ’s 40lb jump more difficult than PAC’s 38lb jump?

    Start at the title fights.

    Go 160 to 8lbs
    Go 168 to 7lbs
    Go 175 to 200lbs ?
    Go 200lbs to unlimited

    Whereas

    Go 112 to 3lbs
    Go 115 to 3lbs ?
    Go 118 to 4lbs ?
    Go 122 to 4lbs
    Go 126 to 4lbs ?
    Go 135 to 5lbs
    Go 140 to 7lbs
    Go 147 to 3lbs (150)

Sources online state PAC skipped Super Fly and Bantamweight. But his wiki even posts Light Flyweight as an accomplishment...

Since PAC had his growth spurt I’ll give him a pass to compete since he had to move up from Flyweight regardless.

Armstrong did 126-160 and wasn't draining people and doing catchweights.

Certainly not Toney considering he only won titles in 3 weight classes across that weight.

In terms of base numbers, Roy did more weight jump, but in terms of bodyweight percentage, Pacquiao is MUCH more impressive.

Pac started 106lbs with a stone inside his both pocket (he's probably 100lbs) going up to 150lbs, that's 44lbs difference.

RJJ is the only man in the history of boxing to to from MW to HW and make weight as a HW when he won his HW crown.

Bob fought at his MW weight as a HW

              Manny held catch

Shows just how hard it is to put on the pounds and still be good. It's easier to be a small man beating up big guys than a previously small man who is now large and beats up man equal to him in size.

No Because neither beat Lennox Lewis John Ruiz was so bad that Pacquaio would out box him. People like Julian Jackson would probably beat Ruiz

The thing is Pac was about about 16 when he was making his debut. A lot of Welterweights probably weren’t much bigger than him when they were 16, they were just not pro yet.

What he did is impressive for sure, but people act like he’s some natural flyweight jumping up weight classes.
