frank's right though, it is dangerous..
imagine the boys at sky sports and matchroom if amir khan had been knocked down like that, out cold, vs someone in his weight class (as in welterweight) and he then wanted an immediate rematch.
they would all be jumped up with their fake concern whilst pretty much mocking the guy and reminding us of how much better kell brook is.

Unless Whyte is juiced up - which is the only way he can win. PEDs & crooked judges. Don King didn’t even give fighters who owed him money this many shots. What’s Whyte have on Eddie?

In terms of can he beat Povetkin? Well, he is already a favourite with the bookies in a rematch and was obviously winning the fight. Could he lose, well obviously he could do too - Povetkin is still a quality fighter; but nobody with whytes career in mind would suggest any other alternative
I think the matter in question is having the rematch so soon after being knocked out that way. According to the article you have to wait minimum 30 days before you can get back in the gym and spar. They are planning to fight in Nov so that would give Whyte very little time in the gym to spar and be ready.

Otherwise I agree with you that he really has no choice but to rematch and raise his stock.

Wow Frank, no one even said you were saying, what you weren’t saying before you said that weren’t saying it.

Yeah, i think the rematch makes sense. But maybe about February, to let that brain recover abit. You're right though, he's gotta win the rematch before he does anything else.
