Taylor took on Postol in his 13th fight, Crawford was on his 29th, Postol had the whopping extra mileage of one fight.

Taylor’s miles ahead of where Crawford was at the same stage, he was still on 6 rounds.

      Insecure.

Taylor had only had about a dozen fights, which is pretty impressive too

There isn’t too many fighters that could beat Postol after that many pro fights. Most wouldn’t even dream about getting in the ring with him at that stage.

Exactly, if people want to play Postol was out of his Prime then surely Taylor wasn’t in his yet, that fight was his introduction to that level.

That Postol fight showed me, and anyone else paying attention, that Crawford was the real deal. Going in it was considered a 50/50 fight and Crawford dominated. To a lesser degree his domination vs Indongo solidified Bud's standing. (after beating Burns, Indongo-Crawford was seen as a competitive fight).

Will be interesting to see if 147 is too much for Bud or if he settles in and even can move up...pfp he is as good as it gets, right there with Loma and maybe a couple others

I’ll give Ramirez the benefit of the doubt being out of the ring so long
But if it’s not the case of ring rust then he’s got no chance against Bud imo
And will have a tough night against Taylor

Always puzzled hell outta me why some folk describe Gamboa as Bud's best win yet barely even mention Postol amongst his top opponents.

Postol is good, not elite good maybe, but technically very proficient, tough and composed. For me the ease with which Bud disposed of Postol is one of the main reasons I came to rate him as highly as I did... Not only that but it's a win that continues to look better as Victor remains competitive with the best of the young guns coming through.

People forget Postol was ranked by the majority of journalist and sites as the #1 ranked 140 pounder. Ive been on this site a minute. Many on here thought Postol would beat Crawford and that Crawford was overrated. After the win Postol all of the sudden becomes some unknown bum.
