Despite the best efforts of whoever was behind Ross' scorecard it didn't work out however. Mexican or Mexican American fighters bring in the most money to those who count man. That's all it is. C'mon man, you're too bright not to acknowledge the truth of what I'm observing here.

S'all about the $$$s man. You know this.
You just said it yourself. DLH sold because of his looks. Even Gatti had an appeal to him. Gatti looked old school, rugid, like from the early 1900s. Old school Italian phonetic. Best was to bring his crowd in the east coast.

Though the model predates DLH. One could say that DLH stole Chavez’s followers as well.

Canelo was hyped in Mexico before 2010. It’s solely because of action power punches that he has a strong following. that being said, Munguía, Ortiz, Zurdo, Benavidez... these guys just don’t have that appeal.

Ryan Garcia is just lucky to be around in the sport. The kid poses like an IG model off GQ magazine.

It’s more about looks than the nationality.

Yeah the model's evolved over time... but I think yeah, you can maybe include JCC as a precursor to DLH. Gave the Vegas / WBC partnership a taste of what could be achieved and they been refining it since.

I think you're being disingenuous trying to brush over the nationality aspect though, the Mexcan holiday spenders are a massive boost to the Vegas economy I think... I ain't delved but I'd be very interested to see the $$$ numbers brought in for Cinco de Mayo and Independence Day relative to other weekends of the year.

All these fighters listed have potential, but a lot of it has to do with their resume. As much as I hate to admit it, Teo and Rayn are the only ones right now making the fights that build a resume to become the next cash cow.

Obviously if Teo pulls off beating Loma, he'd be the undeniable future of boxing.

If Ryan beats Cambel and Linares, then we can hope to eventually have Garcia vs Lopez, so we can see reigns and is crowned the next cash cow.

Of course all the rest still have a shot but they need to get up off their A55es, and make real fights to prove themselves...

No such thing as face of boxing in this goddamned sport where the top guys only fight once a year.

So cut this face of boxing crap. It's nonsense.

Might as well say ghost of boxing.
