on this forum you must admit most the american posters are trash.
if you look at youtube there are american channels like myrone magnus, bruce vane, counterpunch boxing news etc and others who speak a lot of sense.
As for british boxing. I'm not hyped by 'dominance' when i can see the underlying factors behind it.
in the USA if you're a young athletic kid and built 'big', the sports you'll gravitate to are American football and Basketball.
that's really in the genes anyway and i guess there is a mental side to it when you're really young, the sports you naturally gravitate to are how you view your own self.
if you're short, you'll gravitate to a sport like boxing.
in the UK it's flipped. If you're normal height you'll gravitate to football(soccer), if you're really tall like 6ft 4+ you'll gravitate to boxing. Cricket and rugby don't pay a lot.

i don't have a preference towards british boxers over american or anyone else. For me it depends on the person and he's about. For example, Michael Hunter is someone i want to see do good at HW, if it's michael hunter vs whyte...im actually supporting Hunter because he's just a good guy.
if it's whyte vs povetkin, given the wider contexts and how a loss for whyte gasses up these trashy guys like ruiz, wilder etc..then i want whyte to win.
However, because i watch a lot of ifltv stuff, i'm more inclined to support guys like Whyte who've done a lot of interviews (and not boring ones).
