Most definitely and people forget that. Many were actually worried about Pacquiao getting hurt in the fight.

A lot of people did but Barrera fought a brilliant fight that night.

Nobody expected Froch to dominate in that fashion. I was definitely shocked.

Thing was I couldn't actually justify that pick with anything technical, I just thought Hatton would be "too big" and would maul pacquiao.
That was everyone's thought and it made sense at the time. What we found out was that attempting to bully and maul a prime Pacquiao was a terrible strategy.

Margarito was coming off a huge win against Cotto so that's understandable. Honestly the late brother Naazim Richardson was the real MVP for checking those wraps. Your prediction might have been right if he didn't.

I see that the wound that Ward gave was a deep one.

You used to be a funny poster. What happened?

Indeed, there are some high profile people in the Philippines that wanted to stop this fight because it was so much of a mismatch that pac might get hurt badly and might not box again after the fight.

Canelo is the new James Toney. You can't bet against him. I have learned that.

That's correct, Jones had struggled leading up to the fight and I thought his struggles would continue.

By the way, I think Roy edged the first Tarver fight, partly because Tarver let his foot off the gas at times by showboating.
