Last major fight I got way off was when Danny "Gift" Garcia walked away with a W against WARtthysse. I'll argue til this day that 9/10 times, Máquina doesn't get a freak golf ball on his eye and stops Danny late.

Anything can happen in boxing and to me this will always be a case of, the better fighter didn't win, but the guy who should have lost showed up and did his thing.

You thought Jeff Lacy would absolutely beat Roy, a 40 year old Roy? Lol lol lol lol

After Seeing Jeff Lacy get his shht pushed in to the max by Calzaghe and beat by J. Taylor, you still thought he’d beat Jones? Lol lol lol lol lol lol

I thought Jones would win, but wasn't this after he dominated, walked down and stopped by Glen Johnson? If so, he had just one win in his last four fights, and he should have lost all three of the Tarver fights.

Tito vs Hopkins , thought Tito would blast em out of there.
Pac vs Marquez 4, had Pac winning a close decision never , ever thought JMM would score such a brutal KO win.
Freitas vs Corrales , I knew Chico was all game dog but moving up in weight against an undefeated Freitas who had a high KO % too.Never thought Freitas would be a cur.

Anybody willing to share a time when your fight prediction was way off?

I'll start with Roy Jones Jr. vs Jeff Lacy. I thought that Lacy would be too much for a then 40-year old Jones but Roy put on a clinic and embarrassed him.

is his thing rabbit punching matthysse and the ref blatantly ignoring it and scoring it a knockdown? that kind of stuff is hard to predict but then again if yo knew it was tony weeks you knew he was going to go in there and mess it up so the a-side won

no one could predict the blatant fraud and cheater that ward would become but in retrospect we should have seen the tournament was clearly setup in his favor with all home fights while everyone else had to fight in 3-4 different countries. showtime caved and buckled to hte pressure from ward when ward was a nobody. that should have told us everything. what we didnt know is that he was going to cheat his ass off nonstop in most of his fights and get away with it but once the kessler fight was over so was the tournament because if he's allowed to literally wrestle and hold and hit/foul the entire fight why would he ever change? and he didnt

I picked Martinez to beat cotto smh

Ding! That was going to be my response also. I saw a pic of Martinez looking really out of shape, but I didn’t pay it too much mind. Martinez would let any cameras of him training, got a little more concerned. My dad who is by far the best at predictions a few days before the fight said “Martinez is leaking oil”, got more nervous. Then Martinez showed up wearing long jammer shorts hiding two knee braces. Still I didn’t expect him to get blitzed like that so early. It looked like he was on roller skates. He stuck in there for a bit but it was a mess. He looked decent in his comeback...
