Here is a quote from Ruslan about the fight:

"In the middle rounds inside the ring I didn't think I was losing in the ring but watching it after I thought that maybe I lost some of them and Freddie told me I might be losing the fight "

and here is the link: https://www.boxingscene.com/provodni...-career--63551

It was definitely a close fight that could have gone either way but certainly not the robbery that some made it out to be.

brah.. ruslan doesnt strike me as the type to whine and complain. at best, it should have been a draw but we all know why bradley won since tim just beat manny and has the belt and was suppose to be the man for arum and TR. this is the fight that changed bradley!

Good to hear. He was a gutsy fighter but his style isnt suited to last. Gave us some great wars though

I wouldn't have complained if Provodnikov had gotten the decision and a draw would have been good too. I just wanted to add evidence to support my view. None of that takes away from Ruslan as a fighter because he was awesome and yes, Bradley acknowledged how brutal the fight was.

All in on this. It would have been a signature win and he deserved it. I am not down on Bradley at all, but Provo should have that "W".

I loved watching this guy. But he faded quick. He had a good career. No way he could to add to it challenging anyone in his natural divisions. Stay retired, provide for your family, stay healthy, and enjoy telling the stories.

His fights were always too close. He should’ve won the Matthysse fight as a stepping stone to continue, but after Algieri and Bradley he just lost hope and motivation

entertaining guy but lacks defense that he would need at his age if he were to come back. always looked like he went thru every war that took place throughout history after each fight. his face cuts and bruises easily.

Formella is at the top of the Toughness Totem. If Horn wasn't at the end of his career that'd be a fight I'd want to see for sure.
LOL failing to hit or getting dropped ≠ not having power. How does him getting dropped by Swift or getting wrecked by manny matter. what kind of Idiot logic is that? His KOs speak for themselves and he lit Ruslan up with everything, clean, and couldn’t hurt him. Porter has gone 12 rounds with many small guys, like julio diaz and Adrien granados. He doesn’t have anywhere the highlight reel KOs Lucas has.
