Fury is the face of boxing now, if there even is one.

Forbes had him as the highest earning boxer last year. He has also transcended boxing and gone into WWE being asked to host TV shows etc..

The only claim Joshua ever had was selling fighting in few big stadiums but Fury has never even fought in the UK since he’s had a massive surge in popularity and would have no problem selling out those venues too now. Also it should be noted that even before the Ruiz loss, Joshua was no longer selling out those venues and there was always tickets available. The sales were dwindling.

He is the face of boxing. Most people outside of boxing fans don’t really care about Canelo and many feel he gets gift decisions and things like that, which hurts his credibility. He’s also pretty much unknown anywhere else in the world. ..


and the world watching Joshua get flattened by an obese guy put an end to his claim really, he was seen as more of a joke than the face.


The reality is Floyd is still probably the face of boxing and he’s retired.

With everybody fighting about once a year nobody is the face of boxing. It is a ****** expression anyway. Boxing is lots of good fighters fighting lots of good fights not just one boxer. I have dozens of good boxers I follow. they are all the faces of boxing to me.

Nope, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, and Manny Pacquaio are STILL the faces of boxing.

But Fury's closer to those other guys because unlike Canelo & AJ, he's not stiff in public.

Who would you rather see on a talk show, Fury or AJ/Canelo?
