This fight needs to happen. A unification bout would be great for the sport right now. When was the last time this happened? 5 years ago? That's way too freaking long to go without a unified HW champ. I think Wlad is just the man to do it as well. Maskev could put up a decent fight but I still see him getting KTFO within 10 rounds. Wlad has too much skill and power. With Emmanuel Stuart in his corner, he'll be able to neutralize Maskev's mediocre boxing ability and hit him with flush jabs and straight rights all night long.

I don't think it took that much out of Maskaev. His face is unmark and he didn't receive that much punishment. 90 days will be a long rest time and should be enough. In fact it might be an advantage because he doesn't have to under go a very gruelling preparation for the fight.
