Shelly Finkel is smart, if you're a conniving promoter: get a wounded opponent to fight his healthy fighter.

Maskaev has a much better boxing skill than Samuel Peters. However, if there's anything to learn from Rahman, it's that long stiff jab. Keep using that and Klitchko will win on points or even score a knockdown if he follows up with a hard right as he did against Byrd.

Right now, the HW division is wide open.

I hope this fight happens! The sport desperately needs a unified heavyweight title. Whether you guys like it or not, the heavyweights will always be the glamour division and when heavyweight boxing is doing well, boxing thrives.

good for maskaev's wallet, but not fair for his situation and his age......he will need more time to recover and then commence camp!...the couple months is not enough at all and seeing he is 37, I don't like it!

Wlad is one of my favorite fighters but Shelly is trying to work Maskaev over on this one. They(Wlad's People) know Maskaev won't be ready by Nov. 11.

regaurdless at least the white boys are fighting eachother... the titles were held captive by a couple black dudes and a rican for about 5 or 6 years ...now its time things get unifide

American or not, the three champs are white.

In my opinion, Nov. 11 is way too soon after such a hard fight. It would have to be pushed back to atleast December for this to happen.

this is not to soon, 3 months is a lot of time to get ready for a fight, if this were to go down it will prolly happen later, prolly in december on even january...
