Haha! I love to see it. Whyte should take extra time to recover from that KO since even if he wins he has nothing to cry about anymore.

It surprises me that people are still so excited over the concept of a path towards undisputed. As if there hasn't been years of disappointment and reasons why it won't happen.

While everyone blindly believes that true unification will happen, they're missing out on the prospect of decent fights between evenly matched guys.

For years, we've been saying "oh look, now X can fight Y, then Z, and it'll be unfiied and we'll have world peace and no hunger" blah blah. It won't happen, people. Promoters don't want it to happen. Stop wasting your time hoping for something that's probably less likely than winning the lottery.

Yeah I'm starting to think this is the case honestly I don't think we will have an undisputed heavyweight champ anytime soon too many obstacles and everyone wants leverage being the champ. It sucks there is a reason there hasn't been that many undisputed champions in history.

          No.

I doubt the WBC, can just suddenly decide to change their tune.

Whoever wins the Povetkin vs Whyte rematch? Will fight the winner of Wilder vs Fury 'next summertime' etc.

Let's just get to fury vs Joshua so that we can get 1 single hw champion and move on from the delusional fans that believe Joshua is the best hw in the world.

In all seriousness, I don't feel sorry for him because this was a self-inflicted wound. He fought everyone in Europe except for his title eliminators like: Dominic Breazeale and Luis Ortiz; Which tells me that he never wanted to be champion in the first place.

It's what he gets for attempting to take shortcuts to the WBC title. If you want to fight for the title then you must be willing to abide by the sanctioning bodies' rules and protocol.

What Dillian must understand is that just because you are the number one contender doesn't automatically make you the mandatory challenger.

All the sanctioning bodies' have set up a tournament in order to decide who their next mandatory challenger would be.

It's how it is, it's how it always been and it's how it always shall be. Nothing has changed.

Dillian Whyte's own arrogance and sense of entitlement is what caused him to fail and nothing else.
