Honestly, nobody truly gives a shyt about Hearn, Arum or Al Hayman, and do you know why? Because they prevent great fights from happening, period. They are not good guys, NONE OF THEM, they're the necessary evil, no more and far too often less.

I've always been a big fan of Bud but it's getting harder and harder to accept these mismatches. I mean honestly, who actually thinks Brook has any chance in hell? I know all the best welters (minus Bud) are with Haymon but you'd think by now they'd be able to come to an agreement for Bud to fight one of their top five! Thurman called Bud out. Did they even try to make that fight? Sooner or later Haymon is going to run out of matchups to make with his top guys. Hopefully that happens before Bud is 35 and we get to see him against the best while he's still in his prime. Bud seems indifferent about who he faces. I guess as long as the money keeps flowing, he will be content fighting washed up contenders and B to C level guys.

All three guys are low to no priority for Crawford. Porter is a supposed "friend" whose father instead of causing a bidding war between PBC and TOP RANK when they had a belt chose to stay loyal to PBC. Now that his son doesn't have **** and no one will fight him, the dad pathetically begging for a fight when before it was "other side of the street" and is now fighting domestic level fighters for small purses.

Thurman is a loud mouth with one win in almost 4 years against an old shot never was good Josesito Lopez. Also got his ass beat by an old man. If you cant dominate a 40 year old athlete then you were never elite period. That goes for any sport. Same situation now as Porter begging for a fight now that he doesn't have ****.

Brook at least never fronted on Crawford. His problem though is making weight and a damaged face. He also is used to being overpaid by Eddie Hearn. Talks between Crawford and Brook fell apart before, I don't see why they would work out now unless Brook lowers his price.

you say that thurman called crawford and the offer was ridiculous and that its up to thurman to come back with a reasonable offer....and yet put nothing on team crawford to come back with their own reasonable offer even though you feel crawford is the star

he didnt call porter...he didnt reach out to thurman.......hes been targeting brook the whole time.....

no one can claim that the pbc is ducking...no one...it died the day crawford said "hes not on our radar" a week after kenny porter said "call us" and weeks after arum kept saying porters name

every single pbc star WW has a better resume than crawford...and now we know why....arum never calls them or tries to make fights with them

That may be true but he's shot though. He has not been the same fighter since the Golovkin fight. This fight is a cherrypick and it makes Crawford looks bad as one of the top P4P fighters in the world for choosing it.

I don't disagree with the sentiment. Bud has made it clear that's he's content fighting fringe contenders for $5 million a pop.

I'm hoping Brook can turn back the clock a bit.

No link needed. Bob paid khan 7 million for a fight that did 100K ppvs. You guys can make all the excuses you want, but Thurman asking for 10, after they paid Khan 7, is no reason to just completely cut off negotiations...if its a fight you really want, that is.

I agree.
Crawford is my guy but I can't leave him off the hook that easily here. Obviously, if true, Thurman is out of his mind with his 10 million asking price. That being said, if Crawford and co really want the fight, while you have Thurman seated at the table, you make him a real reasonable counter offer given the current circumstances to see if Thurman will remain seated or get up and leave the table.
At the very least, use Thurman as leverage to lower Brook's asking price.
