thats strange...because a few weeks before crawford said "not on our radar" crawford promoter kept floating porter as the guy they were targeting next....and porter didnt have no belt then

In THIS case - I honestly believe that Crawford doesn't want to fight Kell Brook and Bob Arum is pulling (Top) rank on him BECAUSE he knows that Brook is able to pull UK tv revenue that can help for both guys to get paid.

He also suspects that if Brook is damaged enough, then maybe Crawford can actually get a NON-asterisk win against a notable name, finally.

So rather than do what I think he should do - which is tell Crawford to do what Loma did and give up part of the purse to prove he's serious - Bob is just marching forward to get some money made. Like a real promoter should do.

But if I were Bob, I would tell Crawford what Gary Russell did - shut up or glove up. It's time to show and prove that you're worth the guaranteed contract. I'll pay Thurman whatever he wants to get him in that ring even if it means Mr. Bud that you get short changed on the upfront and make it up with your next fight should you be able to get past Keef.
