BUD and co paid Khan the money he wanted because they knew they'd win the fight and Khan brings fans and UK revenue. Brook brings some UK revenue as the fight would probably be UK ppv. Thurman would have been the fight we all preferred to see but seems like Keith priced himself out and Bud and co didn't want to make a counter offer, a fair one.

On the other hand Keith refused to make Crawford any offer at all. Why? Because they know Arum would love to have someone else foot the bill and Crawford is just enough of a prick to take it.

A fair counter would be closer to the 2.5 mill+ part of PPV. It was good enough for Manny but Keith wants 4x that for Crawford? Keith made sure they were too fair apart and that was always the point.

I really like Crawford but he has had a hand in sabotaging his career. Made the P4P list off fighting B level fighters. Has only had one pay per view fight that drew flies. He is 33 years old and has not made the kind of fights to make him a superstar.
