Why Do Wilder and Fury Fanbases Not Understand They Dont Get Credit For Others Wins

Seems like this is becoming a habit which is jumping on someone’s win and claiming the same result would happen .

Povetkin is a very tactical guy who got dropped twice before getting the timed shot off . Wilder would be forced back by Whyte and wouldn’t have the ring savvy to place himself in better spots so it’s not a foregoing conclusion it’s a easy fight for him against Whyte . It’s really a close fight ,when Whyte wins the rematch then what ? How do you explain what ? This was easily seen after AJ lost and then won .Ruiz went from the best boxer to a bum again.

Fury seems to think he doesn’t need to prove himself because he labels himself lineal and lives off a fight 5 years ago but but as a champion that’s what you do so that’s a big turn off , Wilder relies on guys losing to avoid them he’s done it with AJ and Whyte .


Really posters need to learn more about boxing 101 , a win for one doesn’t automatically mean a win for another this should be the easiest thing to know on a boxing forum . Sure Wilder should be the favorite but seeing things like Wilder in 3 off a POV win is laughable. The Whyte loss is in itself proof of the thread where he followed another AJ opponent and could not replicate it .

AJ has defended his titles multiple times , I can’t give Fury a better resume when both have Klitschko. In boxing it is far harder to defend against top guys it’s why many great fighters lose before 10 title fights , If you took Wilder on the other hand his resume is incredibly weak so that’s an exception.

Fury didn’t destroy Wilder he was knocked down twice but he was robbed of a win for sure in the first fight coming back rusty .

I would pick Wilder over Povetkin and Whyte but those fights are near pickems so there’s no wrong answer right now . The point of the thread is the crazy talk and opportunistic posters talking as if their fighter won the fight claiming wins or for either Fury or Wilder to make them look better as if the fights were irrelevant all along . There is a new multi-dimensional rule, where if a heavyweight losses a fight these days 'Tyson Fury absorbs the credit from the fighter who beat that opponent' I am not trying to be smart or anything but? I honestly believe Tyson Fury has some sort of mystical power where he absorbs the credit from other fighters resumes etc

I had to explain to a member on here the other day? That Tyson Fury has not beaten Povetkin or Whyte. People may also mock Andy Ruiz Junior, but there is another fighter who Tyson Fury has not beaten 'But none of it matters because, certain people are under some sort of influence'.

Wilder would have KO both Povetkin and Whyte. Had that been Wilder who dropped Povetkin twice to the canvas like that; He would have windmilled the living piss out of him and until he got him outta there.

No I take that back. It wouldn't have been necessary because chances are Povetkin would have taken a canvas nap and never gotten up. There's no way he would have got up from a Deontay Wilder knockdown; As old, weak and frail as he is at this current stage of his career.

Completely agree and it’s why fury isn’t number one in my eyes. A lot on here who are fury (or in more cases , wilder fans) don’t understand that. Boxing isn’t determined by one fight - not in the heavyweights at least. For me AJ has proven himself multiple times so until I see fury (or wilder even, because it only takes him to beat fury in the rematch and everyone’s opinion will swing 180) beat a couple other top end At best they are “potentially” best in the world.
