Povetkin is not mandatory. Fury has no obligation to fight Povetkin. The WBC has not named him as mandatory.

As for Fury being Wilder's mandatory I think I've made that one nice and clear for you. It wasn't because it was a direct rematch and the WBC's order for a rematch was cancelled when Fury pulled out. That is 100% clear.

And Breazeale v Whyte was ordered by the WBC. That is 100% clear.

Whyte and Ortiz were ordered to fight an eliminator, Whyte refused. Ortiz defeated Malik Scott instead and was elivated to mando. Ortiz lost the position when he didn't inform the WBC he was using heart meds, and Stiverne was elivated to Mando.

    Stiverne fights Wilder.

Whyte ordered to fight Breazelle in an eliminator for the 2nd mandatory position. Whyte says no, Breazelle defeats Molina for the 2nd Mando.

Wilder vs Ortiz was a voluntary.

Wilder vs Fury 1 was a voluntary. Fury was not elivated to mando, he was elivated in the ranks for the purpose of sanctioning the bout as a voluntary. Due to the result of the fight, and the fact that Wilder already fulfilled 1 mandatory, the WBC elivated the rematch to take precedent over the 2nd mandatory. Rematch doesn't happen, Wilder ordered to fulfill 2nd mandatory against Breazelle.

    Widler vs Breazelle 2nd Mandatory.

Fury wins mando postion after defeating Tom Shwartz.

    Wilder vs Ortiz 2 voluntary

Whyte wins 2nd mando position after defeating Oscar Rivas.

    Wilder vs Fury 2 Mandatory

Wilder vs Fury 3 elivated to Mandatory because the WBC approved the rematch agreement.

2nd mando position lost by Whyte, more than likely Povetkin will be rewarded a mando for a later date if he wins the rematch.

I think that about covers it.

      Even you don't believe that.

Fury won the Mandatory position after beating Tom Schwarz? Do me a favour!

I've given you the facts. Up to you what you do with them.

And now it's "more than likely Povetkin will be mandatory"... after the original claim that he was automatically the mandatory.

And you've got Wilder Fury 2 as a mandatory because they approved it as a rematch. And Wilder Fury 3 mandatory because they approved that too!

A mandatory rematch for a mandatory rematch for a voluntary that didn't contain a rematch unless Wilder lost. That's impressive BS you're coming out with there!

So presumably if they just keep agreeing rematches then they'll all be mandatories? They can just keep the title between themselves!

What could matchroom possibly do to Team Povetkin if they refuse the rematch ?

Not a damn thing I imagine!

I cant see Fast Eddie telling the Russians where, when and for how much without them lolling him right out of the room.

Id expect Hearn to cut and run on the dillian experience now and sideline him like he did Ortiz, Hunter and Parker.

Whyte is not the droid anyone is looking for!!!

No aneurysm and no hard feelings. I'm just explaining that you're incorrect.

Sue them for lost earnings due to Povetkin breaking a contract?

              Stop Povetkin from fighting?

Contracts are nothing to do with deserving a rematch or not. They're legal documents, enforceable in court.

So you had Breazeale v Molina fight for the mandatory spot. How the hell were they considered the best two by the wbc?

Before that you had Stiverene as the mandatory. He had done nothing in years.

I used to think wbc was the best title of the lot, but now its on par with the wba as the worst.
